Who we are

Ellercon Engineering is a small Siemens automation engineering company. Most of our work is on SIMATIC PCS 7 control systems at platinum-group metal smelters, converter plants and refineries in North West and Limpopo.

Since 2013 we have also engineered the control systems for process equipment, such as dryers, calciners, kilns and hot gas generators, on ferroalloy, graphite, cobalt, alumina, chemical and biomass plants.

Because we are small, clients deal directly with the engineers who do the work. We work in English and Afrikaans.

How we work

The specification comes first. We agree the functional design with your engineers before we build anything, and we test against it in the factory and again on site.

On a running plant we find out what the system actually does before we change it. Our own tools trace the logic through the CFC charts and record every block type in the project, so an upgrade starts from facts.

Every document we issue is numbered, revised and sent with a transmittal, so it fits into your document control.

Where we work

Our office is in Centurion. Most of our site work is in North West, Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
